Coming into each other’s lives through an uncle’s unfortunate demise. The introduction was brief, but ultimately life-changing.

Already both in our thirties, and both with children we had a lot of catching up to do. So that’s what we did. We became closer with each occasion or event planned. Quite quickly, it went from “ oh I have a sister!” to a naturally occurring desire to really get to know one another. We began spending more time together, becoming inseparable. Neither of us were previously aware that we were the best thing we never knew we needed!

Through a shared love of camping we began taking family camping trips, the first one being at Leo Carrillo State Beach in Malibu. Additionally, we both shared a passion for activities and practices that support a healthy mind and body.

We also enjoyed seeing our children go from strangers to cousins with an ever deepening growing bond. It is always a joy to see them together; hiking in the forest, skipping rocks on the lake or jumping over ocean waves and of course, no matter the locale roasting marshmallows over the campfire!

Between promoting togetherness with family in nature, the shared passion for activities and practices that support a healthy mind and body, and indeed the truest definition of Kismet, Kismet Sisters Collective LLC was born.

We recognize the importance of detaching from the world and have a desire to share the healing properties of taking time out to experience nature in a stress-free environment.

Our organization is dedicated to promoting the exploration of nature, reconnecting with family, and getting in tune with yourself. Each person will have a different idea of what they want to take away or gain from their KSC getaway. With our all-inclusive concept, we have removed the stress induced tasks of planning, purchasing, packing up, setting up, cooking, and breaking down a campsite. We have also decided to go this route to encourage people new to camping to give it a try without breaking the bank by buying a ton of camp gear at once. We ensure an enjoyable experience, and that each attendee leaves feeling restored, takes away great memories and hopefully a newfound love and respect for the great outdoors.

Our flagship camping experience will be held during the Juneteenth 2025 weekend and will include a host of activities, games and raffles. We encourage you to act quickly as space is limited at this first annual Juneteenth Jamboree!
